BREAKING: Trump campaign to request costly partial recount in Wisconsin
President Donald Trumpâ€™s campaign said Wednesday that it will demand a partial recount in Wisconsin, a state he narrowly lost to President-elect Joe Biden two weeks ago.

Trump lost Wisconsin by about 20,000 votes, or less than 1 percentage point, which allows him to request the recount. The campaign said it has paid $3 million to state election officials to cover the costs of recounts only in two mostly Democratic counties, Milwaukee and Dane, alleging voting irregularities that included illegally altered absentee ballots and the circumvention of voter ID laws.
