It’s called good government. NY State is even lower.
Hopefully it will be sustained because neighboring states are worse and PA a basket case, but all the governors now are coordinating like back in April.
It takes government and people to do the right things, use the brains to think and control their actions.
NY was hit the hardest back in March and April, but since May it has been a model of what to do. Ideology doesn’t impress a virus. Where there’s been resistance for whatever reasons it is a mess. People get infected in droves, ICUs are filled up, and anyone who needs to go to the emergency room for whatever reason cannot go and be taken care of, so more people die from other conditions too.
That’s the life the Trump experience has brought on to America, the richest nation in the world.
