This does make sense.
I read somewhere that kids in a house that has pets in
it tend to have healthier immune systems than kids in
houses without pets.
And it has to do with the body being exposed to a
wide variety of micro-organisms. Some friendly and
some not so much. The body learns to 'keep its guard up'.
