Yeah, I was going to suggest what I have done in my garage to make sure my wife and I do not pull our cars too far forward - drop a tennis ball from the ceiling with fishing line. Just set the tennis ball smack in the middle and when the center of your windshield touches it, you're there.

Here is a helpful solution.

Use Tape measure and measure the width of your garage from wall to wall. MARK the MIDDLE

SO, if your Garage is 18 feet wide, center should be 9 feet.

ON the wall the car faces when pulling in, Take something, spray paint, wide brush with housepaint on it, CRAYON , LARGE MARKER, and measure from one side wall to the center. MAKE A LARGE, EASY TO SEE Vertical MARK about 12 inches up and down, mayne a couple inches wide, right there at about FIVE feet high off the garage floor.

You should EASILY be able to SEE that from a sitting position in your car. Pull the car in with the center of your head lining up with that CENTER MARK you just made...

You will always be in the mniddle or at least, CLOSE to it... End of problem... Thumbs Up Propeller Very Happy
