And this is money and resources that have already been approved and allocated by Congress. All that is missing is a 'Letter of Assertion' which is required before one dollar can be spent on the transition or one square foot of office space can be occupied.
While a president-elect is not legally declared the winner until Congress certifies the electoral college vote, which in this case is scheduled to take place on December 14th, traditionally, this letter has been signed shortly after the the loser concedes. But since Trump has refused to concede, it now appears that the head of the GSA is NOT going to allow the Biden/Harris team to proceed with the transition. While she's not legally obligated to do so, not signing the letter will bring all transition activity to a virtual halt. This is just one more attempt by Trump to destroy the Biden/Harris presidency before it even gets off the ground.
And if that wasn't bad enough, Trump intends to start holding rallies again, utilizing taxpayer funded resources such as the White House and Air Force One. Also, he's now collecting donations for his so-called 'legal fund' which ostensibly is for disputing election results, but which the fine print on the donation pledges states that the money may go to the campaign to cover any expenses as needed. And since a very large percentage of the money that goes to the Trump campaign eventually ends-up in the pockets of Trump family members as well as the Trump Organization, it's like Trump is just stealing it from his MAGA supporters for his own personal benefit.
