Re: “THIS si waht I was gonna do with the Chromebook Iffen they came with an HDMI connection.”
I just checked my Chromebook - which is a fairly old, low-end model. It does NOT have an HDMI port.

But I do use it for casting (wirelessly) to the Chromecast on our main TV. I do that all the time.

Okay, so the mystery remains of why ribit can see his desktop on his TV but can't see Youtube videos. Mmm - hey, ribit. Any chance you're watching a video of a white circle spinning?

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I haven't run into any. I use my laptop on an HDMI cable to watch on the t.v. what is on my laptop screen. I just use the HDMI slot 2 on my t.v. and go to settings and set it to play on HDMI 2. It shows perfectly every time..

Full screen and you can adjust the volume on yer televsion set for however loud or quiet you want it..
No trouble at all....

THIS si waht I was gonna do with the Chromebook Iffen they came with an HDMI connection.. They are small enough I can just hook it up permanently.
