When those built-in trailer fridges go bad, sometimes it's cheaper to just buy a new trailer.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

I am interested in what I am looking at on this picture.

Was this inside the freezer compartment? I have replaced several freezer fans in my lifetime. I went to an appliance parts store and simply purchased a fan for under 20 bucks.. Then replaced it by removing the plastic liner panels that are inside the freezer compartment in order to expose the fan so ya can actually replace it...

That's kinda why I am curious about it...

Do I understand that when you cut your way thru all the plastic liners to get to the fan, the fan stopped making noise because you sprayed some lubricant on it?

Wow. Were the impeller blades free of frost and stuff??

If a fan is making a lot of racket it is either straining , bearing going bad, or an impeller out of balance from something. That's amazing and I am happy for you that it is fixed. Just trying to understand why you could not gain access to a repair relacement part that caused you to have to have demolition derby take place inside your freezer.. and then the fan itself did not need to be replaced but a spray of WD-40 was all that was required... That is rather LUCKY and good that you saved a repairman call and a lot of money..
