American news channels don't seem to agree on where things stand, but it is clearly closer than I expected. When all the votes are counted, I'm guessing Biden wins by 4-5%. Electoral college, who knows.
I will never understand Americans if nearly half are willing to support that awful man.
Still, the silver lining is, my idea of a split in the United States looks more sensible than ever. It is bad for the world that it matters. And bad for the US that the Red States can win against the majority Blue States.
I wonder why staying together is something people want. The British Brexited. American states ought to have a choice. If not independence, join Canada.
