I still find race-based and gender-based politics troubling. If the Dems focus on non-white voters, then the GOP is going to focus on white voters. I'd prefer a politics which doesn't do racial targetting on either side.
But it is what it is, I suppose. Biden's big plus as a candidate is that he pulls more blue collar, non-college-educated white people than your average Dem these days. So he neutralises Trump's big racial play to some extent. And of course he has the majority of the educated white bloc on side.
I also expect him to bag large majorities of black voters and non-Cuban Latinos.
