The FINAL football game of my grandson is tonight. Itwill be cold at the stadium sitting high up on those aluminum bleachers in open field with constant wind blowing.. Not as cold as De but down around upper 30's or less...

TWO pairs of socks, two pairs of pants, two warm shirts and a coat and blanket and HAT for my thinning hair on my head.. And Gloves...

Its kind of sad that Tyler's football days at the High school are over. He is accepted however at Taylor University with scholarship money ! They want him to play Division 3 football for them.. Its a small Christian college. He likes it... There are multiple other schools that are very interested in him as well and one very close by called Thomas More college about thirty minutes drive in northern Kentucky. They do have great academics and are close by. Both Pluses...

So its getting intereting.... Just kind of a melancholy evening though...

AND

my little sster called and said they are headed this from visiting some friends of theirs around Asheville, NC. I told her be here by 6:30 or you won't see us. Now they want to go tot he game.. Hope they get here in time..

Hopefully they do. My brother in Law Tom eas theplacekicker for Ohio State under Woody Hayes from 1975-1977. He tried out for several pro team but did not make the cut.. He was Ohio State's first soccer style placekicker. He was pretty good...

Re: “First snow of the year, coming down right now.”My town's low tonight will be 18°. I'm about 900 feet higher than the town, and typically 3° colder. Winter is here!

We don't usually get significant snowfall until January. I wouldn't call the current snow "significant," but it has managed to make things VERY white.
