Taiwan is not China, so there are no excuses that we canâ€™t do what they did. We are just not â€œexceptional.â€ We have no discipline and no sense of patriotism other than shooting at violent ragheads and flying the flag on pickup trucks. We just let our country deteriorate as people die and the economy is in the shits.

BTW, NY is doing what Taiwan did, contact tracing and speedy response and quarantine where cases pop up, although the population is not as disciplined, but it has worked well so far.
