The Bananarepublicans have let deficits run riot under Trump (in the name of low taxes for the rich). As a result, the debt has increased massively both in real terms and as a percentage of GDP. All without a peep of complaint from Congressional Bananarepublicans and the rubes who support them.
So when they become deficit scolds and so-called fiscally responsible conservatives again, let's remember that they are hypocrites first.
Hypocrites over SCOTUS.
Hypocrites over the US economy.
Hypocrites over the lives of children (ripping them from their mothers and putting them in cages).
Yuck.
