you have survived the endless questions. There will be at least one more beforesurgery. It will go something like this: "there is the possibility, very small, but still possible, that you could wake up and be paralyzed or be in excrucuating pain the rest of your life if we nip a nerve root. Are you willing to acept that risk? And you will need to sign a waiver stating as much.. I have gone thru that twice now. Yours will be in my non-medical opinion, more extensive than either of mine because you are dealing with complete fracture of a vertbra bone. In itself, that is scary. I suspect this will be pinned but the surgeon has to be so very careful with those spinal cord roots all around those vertbrae.
So be patient with the doc as they HAVE TO proceed with caution and warn you of possible outcomes. Its not that they don't want to help you. They are under very strict rules and guidelines they have to follow and document. You are nearing the end of the journey. I do hope after it is done that you are able to recover fully but realize you now have a very area in your spine and your lifting days are over.. Yeah, it sucks.. I get it. I hate to ask for help too. But sometimes in life we need to and I am blessed with a wonderful Godly wife and daughters and son in law who lives close by plus my grandson.. They are a huge help to me.. Lose your pride. Swallow it and be humble.
I know where you are at. Been there. Am close to being back there only there are no more surgical solutions for me.
Please keep me posted as to date of surgery and time.. I will devote that day to fasting and prayer for intercessory prayer. You also need to be asking The Lord Jesus to help you and to give the doctors all involved wisdom and guide their thoughts and their hands as they work to try to heal you.
"Lean not unto your own understanding, but in all things ACKNOWLEDGE HIM". Also, Be sure to "GIVE THANKS with a grateful heart."
When we place our selves, our lives, into HIS Hands and there is nothing we can do, and surrender our will to HIS, accepting the outcome before it is known, this is the atttude that GOD wants in us. WHEN it is successful it is due to HIM hearing you and answering your requests by HIS WAYS and with HIS Wisdom and Knowledge. ALL wisdom comes from God as does ALL Truth.. You are in good hands when you turn your well being and life over to HIM... By simple childlike faith, place your trust in HIM and and nothing else... I ampraying to these ends for you Nemo and want you to find peace and hopefully HE ALONE will get you out of the pain you are in to a manageable state, or maybe completely free.
We do not know the outcome in advance. WE CAN KNOW the ONE who controls the OUTCOME because HE IS THE ONE who created you and gave you a living, eternal soul to be the person who you are. And it is eternal. So that you can fellowship with HIM for all eternity. In a perfect, painfree new body that never grows old and is not affected by all our diseases and afflictions.
Be patient my friend... Let GOD work on HIS time schedule and just pray. Turn it all over to HIM.
