I’m starting to hear from a lot of Trump supporters who are feeling an impending sense of disaster as we approach November 3. Why so glum, guys? Please tell me you’re not falling for the mainstream media’s voodoo once again. These people think they’re wizards and that they can control the outcome of the election by crushing our spirits. We deplorables need to be uncrushable! Here are the big reasons why I’m brimming with optimism for Trumpslide 2020.
Oh no! The polls! Trump is trailing Biden by 14 points in the second week of October!
Hey, that’s weird. The exact same polling outfit had Trump trailing Hillary by 16 points in the second week of October in 2016. None of the polling operations in America have changed their methodologies since 2016. They’re still running robo-calls and people are still hanging up on them. The only difference is that more people are hanging up on them this year than in 2016.
I don’t normally kiss and tell like this, but I have to tell you a story about something that happened last July. One of the biggest polling operations in the US contacted me. If I asked you to name the top five biggest pollsters in America off the top of your head, this company would be one of the names you’d think of. They’re huge.
But the polling company wasn’t calling me to conduct a poll. They were calling me to save their bacon. They wanted to hire me as a consultant to re-vamp their marketing efforts, because they’re not bringing in any new business. At which point I laughed at them.
Almost all of the polling industry is in this same boat. The poll results that we’re seeing every night in the mainstream media are suddenly “non-commissioned.” That means no one paid for it. Most of the polling industry is in shambles because no one is hiring them. Their credibility is completely shot. They’re basically working for free at this point and panicking because their old, broken methodologies don’t work any longer. After another big swing-and-a-miss in 2020, a bunch of these outlets are going to go broke.

Back in 2004, an estimated 1,300 Amish voters turned out for George W. Bush in Pennsylvania and Ohio. That number jumped up to around 2,000 in 2016, when they turned out to vote for Trump. Is there anything different this year?
The Amish came to America in the 1750s, so they’ve been here as long as America has been a formal country. Think back to all of the times in American history when the Amish elders endorsed a presidential candidate.
Oh, right. The Amish have never endorsed a candidate for president. Not ever. Not even once.
Until this year.
The Amish elders have endorsed Donald Trump for president. On the ground, that could translate into anywhere from 20,000 new Trump voters on the low end, to 76,000 on the high end – and that’s just in Pennsylvania.
Clippity-clop, Joe Biden. Clippity-clop. That’s the sound of your doom approaching in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
I really thought it would make bigger headlines a couple of weeks ago when House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) soiled himself while standing next to Nancy Pelosi in a press conference. I guess not everyone shares my sense of humor.
Want to know who else is having a Nadler moment in the dungarees this year? Silicon Valley. Especially Google. And not because of the impending anti-trust charges.
Google N-gram and other tools are extremely useful in determining what people in various states or regions are searching for online. An analysis of people searching for the terms “switch to Democrat” or “switch to Republican” in swing states is remarkably telling. These are people researching how to switch their party registration before the election.
In every swing state analyzed, for every single Republican searching for “switch to Democrat,” there are four or more Democrats searching for “switch to Republican.” I can only imagine this gap will widen even more after everyone heard Kamala Harris’s voice for 90 minutes this week in a debate. What – you thought Tim Poll on YouTube was the only Democrat to jump ship and support Trump for president this year? People are leaving the Democrat Party in droves after the violent antics of this past summer.
Chins up, fellow MAGA marauders! COVID knocked Trump down for a couple of days, but now it’s game on. A lot of people underestimated the orange eagle in 2016 – and how did that work out for them? The real contest is only getting started, and it’s about to get wild.
