what perzactly does ya mean when you say you have a file you delete and then you can "shred" it?

On my computers, I delete a file and it goes to the recycle bin. Every once in a while I right click on the recycle bin and clikc on "EMPTY the recycle bin", which it gets completely cleared and all the things that were in it are permamnently deleted.

Now, You say that you have three hard drives.. One is in the computer and the other two are external ones.

SO One would be theoretically drive D and the other drive E
or maybe E and F.. Whatever they are, if you is trying to delete a file and having problems on that drive, simply move the file or "SEND" it to your recycle bin on Drive C. Or the desktop on drive c and then go there and dispose of it.. In the recycle bin.

ALL you do to move a file is to right click on it and click on 'SEND TO: and choose drive C and location...

This oughta do it sire... JMO.

micro..

Todays computer problem!

When I bought my new winders computer I musta clicked on the wrong one cause the one I wanted had a solid state drive and spozedly a terabit thingy. Anyway, it barely has more storage capacity than a chromebook. I had a two external hard drives, put them on the machine and they worked. I could save stuff to them or move stuff to them and if I deleted anything on them I could "shred" material from my Mcafee Shred thingy. All was well and I was happy. That must have pissed the computer gods off so they threw me a curve. Now suddenly I can only Shred stuff deleted from the C drive. If I delete it from any other drive, it shows up in the recycle bin, but attempting to shred it don't work. Mcafee tells me shredding was successful, but ya look in the recycle bin and they is still there. I kinda need a quick fix for this cause the SWAT team outside my house is growing impatient.
