By and large, your "prejudices" are based on empirical evidence regarding how categories of people behave or present themselves. That does not mean your assessments are incorrect ... "discrimination" does not necessarily carry a bad connotation because it also refers to the ability to discern between right and wrong, high quality vs. low quality, good behavior vs. bad behavior, good taste vs. bad taste, etc. We should be discriminating in evaluating everyone and everything around us ... it is how we develop our sense of right and wrong, good and bad, and hopefully apply those lessons to better our own behavior. Where we tend to fail is in the "categorization" ... it is too easy for us humans to over-generalize and assign our correct discernment about a fewer number of people to a much broader range of folks based on commonalities ... but, that doesn't mean our evaluations based on actual experience are incorrect - just not necessarily correct for every person with similar attributes.

For instance, we know from empirical evidence that most Democrats are bitter, worthless assholes who have very little regard for human life, individual freedoms, and responsible behavior, BUT ... if we were to look very, VERY hard, we might be able to find a few Democrats that have some redeemable personal qualities ... maybe.

...everybody has some sort of prejudice. They have the ones they know about and the ones they don't know about. Ya can fix the ones ya know about but the ones ya don't know about are unfixable until ya become aware of them. I tried to approach everything with New Eyes but the prejudices ya don't know about will trip you up.
