Actually, my one brother in law was my height but a much smaller boned man. He was not nearly as wide across the shoulders as me nor as thick around the rib cage and chest.. The Medical community has a chart for checking your weight and seeing where you are at for your Mass Body IOndex number. One of the things you use also is a chart for large framed people. The bone size and density plays a riole in overall weight.

At 200 pounds I am considered Obese. According to the AMA.

Nobody would look at me at that weight and say I am obese or when I played football, baseball, Basketball and ran track at that weight and a little more..

So, there actually is something to it.. Some people are simply broader across the shoulders than others and are the same height and wear the same size pants but the shirt size will be different and one will weigh more than the other.

I was considered to be a fairly good athlete in my younger days and into my 40's. Things came naturally to me and I was pretty good at any sport I took up, including golf. Never had a lesson yet shot par on a regulation course with multiple witnesses signing my card . I just was blessed with great athletic coordination and ability.

But there are a couple of different charts for athletes who actually are more dense and have more bone mass than most people...

Re: “I have a large skeletal frame and broad shoulders and thick chest.”
I'm nearly certain that "large skeletal frame" is a myth. At least, I've never seen a fat skeleton.
