Dell Optiplex 980 Desktop Core i5 3.2Ghz 8GB 500GB Windows 10 Refurbished

I can load MSFT Office 7 onto this and also we should get a an antivirus and malware protection on there as well.

I use paid subscriptions to MAlwarebytes Pro and I love Webroot antivirus. The webroot is about 20 bucks for up to three devices.

Anyway, I configured this to include a wifi adapter, USB keyboard and mouse, and it comes to $165.00 with 8 GB of Ram Memory and a 500 GB hard drive.

Any thoughts on the idea of pitching in and just replacing DG's computer. I am sure it is antique....

I am wondering what does he use for a computer? I was thinking maybe we could just cobble one up that works well and send it to him... ???? Zim, you following my train of thought? I mean I would donate to even buying a new laptop or see about getting a good used desktop sysyem from one of the computer repair shops that is refurbished..
