Radish?

Geez . . .
GirlFriend thought it was some kind of Philippino
vegetable. . .

But then she likes to grow what looks like an
'elephant ear' type ornamental which she calls
'Gabi' and swears it is good eating.

I made the mistake of thinking they was collards
cooking one day and ate some . . . They were not
collards . . . but they didn't kill me either.

And then there is 'Ampalaya' . . . Also known as
'bittermelon' . . . I'm scared of that one. But I
like the way ampalaya and setow beans go screaming
up the trellis in the heat of the summer.

Zim.

Lots of good guesses there, folks, but I'm afraid that none of them were right. The answer is… RADISH! Yum. Who doesn't love a good salad on their radish???
