I haven't a clue about Clo . . .

But OCU, I've seen how he will lie - first to himself and then
to anybody else. He will twist truths into pretzels in order
for him to believe what should be obviously false.

Prime example "Saddam had no WMD's". First OCU claimed what he
did have was all leftovers from the Iran Iraq war . . . When
that was demonstrably false he claimed "There was only one binary
nerve gas artillery shell" (used as an IED.) For me, the
absolute certainty that he was a lying blithering idiot came
when he proclaimed "Those empty chemical warheads are not really
chemical weapons because they were empty."

I believe people like OCU fervently want to believe what their
'betters' tell them because their 'betters' are, well, smarter
and more knowledgeable than themselves. And so they apply
what brains they do have to 'explain' - any way they can -
just how the crap they are believing must be true . . . Instead
of 'seeing' how they are being lied to.

And I have no idea how to convince 'them' otherwise.

There is a teacher who lives across the street from my oldest daughter nearby. Both she and her idiot husband were bigtime Obama supporters. My daughter, also a teaher, talked to her endlessly when election number 2 came up and they did it again. I think the second term of obammy cost them something.

Because the election for Trump they finaly began to see the differences between leftists and conservatives. SO they have for Trump once and likely will do it again. WHY were they just no brain voters before? Habit, maybe their parents did it so they were good little robots, who knows.

I personally believe one has to be mentally ill or simply hate American Freedom and Democracy in order to vote for a democrat...
Remeber in the two you mentioned in this topic.

D-I-F yep. It's forever and in these two cases it is not going to change.
