Kel-Tech SUB-2000

Inexpensive (can buy for around $400)

Chambered for either 9mm or .40 S&W (I prefer .40 S&W, but you might want to choose 9mm since that is what you already have)

There are versions that accept Glock, Beretta, or Smith & Wesson pistol magazines (so, if you already have several magazines of a particular, compatible type, you can buy a version that will utilize your existing clips)

You can buy extended magazines that will hold 30 or more rounds

Folds compactly for storage

16" barrel

.40 S&W 165 grain coming out of the 16" barrel will hit like a .41 S&W Magnum

Just a thought

As I have openly asked before, considering another rifle only with semi-auto capablitiy, I am thinking that there is no ned to actually purchase the AR when I can buy any semi auto rifle with between a 16 and 18 inch barrel.
As long as it is mag fed with 10 rounds what do I care?

I discovered that there are these available readily.

Then there bcomes the other question that in a closer quareters engagement do I really want a rifle or should I just buy more magazines for my 9MM semi auto full size postol? At 15 rounds per clip tat's al ot of shots. Say you have six fully loaded clips that would be 90 rounds very quickly. I ahve a few thousand rounds of 9 MM ammo so tehre is no shortage of ammo.

So maybe just buy a few more clips and keep them filled up ready to use.

I dunno. I also have the 12 gage shotgun that holds six rounds and is a pump.

I realize the rifle gives me greater accuracy at longer ditances but I am thinking any real fights will be much closer than that.

ANy thoughts or oopinions on what you think? Thanks!
