    my existing database again . . .

It looks like it created a database which accesses the Access
database. (At the opening screen, I selected open an existing
database and used the pull down to select 'Access'.)

When I open this new database I see all the queries and tables
from the existing database . . . It looks like all my data
is in there. None of the existing forms are in there.

Access has Macros - which can be used to automate things.
And Access has Visual Basic behind it - enabling the truly
smart amongst us to write code to do some really good stuff.

I don't know if Base has those things. yet.

One pdf file wants me to use SQL to create the tables and stuff.

But Base does have 'wizards' and 'design view'.

Just looking and studying.
