those three years of tutelge under Urban Meyer were what made him ready to go on from there. He turned around Houston's program and then Texas wanted him for their own..

So the legacy of Urban Meyer lives on as well as Buckeye nation in Texas! lol!!!!

And as for your over-estimation of Ohio State's impact on Tom Herman, well ... Herman's 22-year coaching career started in 1998 at ...

1998: Texas Lutheran (Texas)
1999 - 2000: University of Texas (Texas)
2001 - 2004: Sam Houston State (Texas)
2005 - 2006: Texas State (Texas)
2007 - 2008: Rice (Texas)
2009 - 2011: Iowa State (Iowa)
2012 - 2014: Ohio State (Ohio)
2015 - 2016: University of Houston (Texas)
2017 - 2020: University of Texas (Texas).

So, as you can see, 73% of his coaching career has been developed in the art of Texas football, rather than the nuances of Ohio tiddlywinks.
