Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

GM Nemo

I did some reading and research yesterday on this topic as your commments spurred me to look for some help with my own..

I learned a couple things I will share..

1. A HUGE part of this is AGE related. Unfortunately, you have been welcomed to the party of getting older.. You have laready experienced the joys of the arthritic back and associated pain. The leg cramping thing is yet another friend of this age group..

2. There are some things we can do to releieve this problem though.
One is that start taking Chelated Magnesium supplement that also has Glycinate. The glycinate will act as a calming agent to help your mind sleep and relax your muscles. The lack or deficiency of magnesium in our bodies, as well as other minerals because the foods we eat today lack the same nutrientys they did from say 20 years ago or longer.. So we do not get as much minerals out of the plants our the meats we once did.

Vitamin and MINERAL supplementation is necessary especially as we get older.

Take a good multivitamin daily. Also add to that B12, calcium and magnesium. The magnesium is good for the muscles... The more, the better.

I have added that to my supplements as of yesterday. I already took the others.

Hopefully the chelated magnesium with glycinate will help you get rid of the cramping at night..

I was cramp free last night....
