If he is smart, he will NOT file divorce papers ... if it comes to that, he will let HER file divorce papers. Her reason is already out there in the public domain ... he cast his vote for President Trump - GASP! ... and it will not reflect well on her. If I was him, I wouldn't leave the kids or the house ... if she could no longer stand to be around me, then I would wait to see if she left of her own accord. Yes, Texas is a Community Property state, so she will get half of the Community Property assets, but I seriously doubt she will get anything else. Since she is going nuts over him exercising his right to vote, he'll probably get at least shared custody of the children because she's the one who is looking really unreasonable. Any alimony is highly unlikely. I realize that men usually get the short stick in divorces, but she really has not done herself any favors by making all of this public.
As far as "killing her" goes ... nah, ribit ... she's not worth it. Maybe I'm just not the jealous type, but I have NEVER understood why anyone kills a wayward spouse or significant other. If they don't want to be with you anymore, okay ... it may hurt for a while - I understand ... but, let it go and move on. Murder is senseless and ruins your life, as well.
