I see you were up burning the midnight oil again, or pamybe its justthe time zone differences.
Hope you are okay.
I have been doing soe research and reading about the SHOTS especially relative to how many sets can someone take because apparently one set rarely does the trick alone..
Interestingly I have read from well known medical institutions that you can take up to THREE sets of those shots to get relief. THREE.
Apparently the steroid a lot of times does not have the desired effect on those firing nerves but helps other areas with the secondary pain. So it sometimes requires some people three times to have these to finally have the calming down of the nerves to work...
I was under the mistaken impression before that you could take one set and then have to wait at least three months before you could do another...
That is incorrect.
I don;t know if you knew this or not but thought I would pass it along. Must be the reason when I talked with my pain doc Thursday he asked if I needed another set of shots because he could do that..
I declined the offer for the moment because I wanted to allow more time for the steroid to work and see. Ithas been three weeks for me..
Sometimes I am okay. If I start walking That being okay goes away rapidly.
I may put up with this another week or two before getting a second set and if need be a third...
I HATE taking half of a pain pill.Even though it may only be ONCE in a day. I wish you the best in getting yours under control. You have dealt with it a long time.....
