I am just like you Beldin.

My precription is for OXYCODONE and I know its stronger than hydrocodone (Vicodin) That actually makes me itch...

The OXY does not but it sometimes meeses with my nervous system. I try to take half of one pill and let it get into the system. If things quiet down that's all I need. But even then, SOMETIMES, even half of the pill seems to cause some anxiousness, and I really don't like that...

My theorem was to take HALF of the pill and get half of the strength and hopefully that would eliminate the side effect.

Well, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.

Maybe something less strong that I don't have a reaction to may be in order..

Yeah, ya gotta be careful with Oxy. I have a whole cabinet full of Hydrocodone from various prescriptions over the years. Hydrocodone isn't as strong as Oxycodone, but I will only take a Hydrocodone when absolutely necessary ... when the pain is so intense that I cannot really function or even go to sleep. On average, I probably take only one or two Hydrocodones every year and I would definitely like to keep it that way. They are not something you want to get used to taking all the time.
