Its hgighly unlike you to be absent for over a day on any board. Unless of course you feel so good you may have taken off on yer bike and gone for a very long ride and enjoyed NOT being in pain.
An alternate view could be you had a bad reaction or side effect to that and have wound up in the hospital.
I was hoping to see how it was going for you after a couple days and share notes.
One thing I am discovering and NOT LIKING is the pain medicine I am on, Percocet, aka Hydroxy codone 5-325
I had weaned myself off that for the first full week after my shots. Then I needed some help one day and took ONE tablet. When it kicks in I kind of tingle in my arms and I notice I fel nervous or anxious and sometimes have some sensation of abnormal breathing..
I need to talk to the pain management doctor about this and see if we can try something else...
The upside is it helps with the pain. The down side is the side effects I am feeling. A little scary..
Doesn;t some drug comppany make a good pain releiver that is not mind altering and strong enough to help with severe pain? Sheesh.....
O. I forgot. My primary care doctor and I had a visit Friday morning for my annual wellness checkup.
She said I was overweight. I said tell me something I don't know. She said I am in great shape for someone my age. I act about ten to fifteen years younger.
I told her it was because I was dropped on my head as a baby out the car window at 25 mph. lol!!!
I do need to get with my orthopedic doctor who does joint replacements and see about getting an MRI on my hips for the arthritis. I am pretty confident they are being chewed on and that is where a major source of pain may be coming from...
Will have to see. Hoe you are feeling better Nemo! I am a little concerned with your absence though.
