I hear ya, Cap'n. Over thirty years ago, I had to go in for a scan where they shot me up with a radioactive dye. The technician came at me with a hypodermic syringe inside a lead container that he was holding away from himself. The contents of the syringe was some glowing, lime green stuff. I asked him if he planned on shooting me with that crap. When he said "yes," I then asked him what the half-life of that stuff was. He said it should be out of my system within about three days. Yeah, riiiiiight ... to this day, my wife has no trouble finding me in the dark.
After the scan, they said I had "hot spots" in my shoulders, wrists, knees, and ankles. I said, "No sh!t ... I coulda told ya that without the damn scan ... it's called years and years of football, basketball, baseball, and good ol' Southern Boy "Hold My Beer And Watch This!" moments.

I got home and went to sleep. Got up an hour ago. ANd feel kinda weird with all the dyes and chit they pumped in my spine today. LOL Went pretty good. My head kept me in a bad place about these shots, the shots wasn't bad, its when them numbed me up and she said OK this one is going deeper YIKES. I says OH YEAH I felt that one LOL. They thought I was a big baby. Thats OK, I am when it comes to needles poking into my spinal canal.
