As we told you earlier, Byron York called total BS on the Mueller team’s excuse that the wiping of 31 cellphones was totally accidental. In other words, the Mueller team didn’t deny the story, but just claimed what happened was a giant OOPS.
Meanwhile, The Atlantic’s story based on anonymous sources continues to crumble (and has since been eclipsed by the Bob Woodward recordings).
So, one of those stories happened, and another is “fake news,” but Mollie Hemingway summed up the sorry state of journalism by pointing out which one sparked a media frenzy:
Mollie ~ The Mueller team intentionally wiped their phones to thwart an investigation into their work. Stunning revelation about something that actually happened, as opposed to debunked claim from anonymous sources. Note disparity in media coverage.
One fits a preferred narrative and the other doesn’t. The national media prefers to promote talking points over reality and truth.
Don Mills ~ If other way around, it'd be all over the place. Such a double standard fueled with hypocrisy.
Wesley J. Smith ~ Because the media would have happily wiped the phones for them.
Skip Conway ~ Note there is no MSM coverage of this.
And don’t hold your breath.
Will Case ~ Because our media is literally worthless.
Jorge Saldivar ~ This is what makes America lose confidence our institutions. This needs to be made right, and these law enforcement agents need to be brought to justice.
The movement to hold law enforcement accountable apparently stops with those who have been helping do the Democrats’ bidding.

The essential American soul is hard, isolate, stoic, and a killer. It has never yet melted. ~ D.H. Lawrence
