GM sir!
Getting ready before I head across town to see a client.
I read your opst regarding the status on the house and that the water supply was hooked up to a well.
Okay.. So you will have well water as a source of water.
You know what my next question is going to be now don't you?
I am going to go out on limb and say that the majority of well water is generally ice cold, and that it has lots of mineral content..
Are you going to install a water softener whichwould remove the mineral content but leave a little salinity to the water, but will be good for yer water heater tank and water pipes as they will be void of all the typical hard water minerals that build up ?
You also could, and should, then run that water after the water softener thru a reverse osmosis filtration to remove the salt.
NOW you will have some of the very most pure drinking water available to use and no mineral or salinity buildup.
Sorry to butt in but thisis a realm I deal with constantly for water purificationin finishing systems so naturally that same application is good for residential use as well.
