This will place US performance in terms of mortality just below France, Spain, Italy and the UK.

Case counts in Europe were seriously undercounted as the testing procedures were neither efficient nor widespread early on.

Belgium, a couple of tiny principalities and the Latin American countries look like ending up with the worst numbers on a per capita basis. Russia and Iran may have been as bad, but they lie so we don't know.

will end up occupying not the bottom place on the chart, but around tenth worst, both in terms of number of cases and number of deaths. That's on a per capita basis.

So the MAGA crowd have something to crow about. Not America First, But Also Not America Last. NAFBANAL.

I think Biden might aspire to perform even better than Trump.
