The coronavirus tells us all how great we are.

Turns out we are all alike. We can all get the disease. Many of us die. We grieve.

All of our economies are wrecked by it. Jobs have been lost everywhere.

And as societies, we can all fight back.

No one is greater or the greatest. Nor are they worse or the worst. We don't need to compare. We need to remember our place in the universe. Nature humbles everyone in just the same way.

The thing that is shocking is how long the US pandemic has gone on for. This was the result of normalising the country too soon. Political mistake, pure and simple.
