I have told one person details of what I am going thru this past week and it is not good. I have taken a turn in the wrong direction with my lower spine and likely the hip is also being eaten up with the degenerative arthritis.
I literally cannot stand or walk for more than maybe ten minutes or walk more than possibly a hundred feet. The pain is excruciating and I have to sit before the right leg gives out underneath me. HAppened in a store this week twice. Once had to have a life squad fetch me after going down. Embarrassing to say least.
So I have been off my feet since and communicating with my doctor.
I see my new PAIN Doctor on Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. for pain numbing injections under X-ray guidance.
I have to see my orthopedic joint doc as soon as I can to get images of my right hip taken also as we believe that is also part of this acute and overwhelming burning, searing pain that I cannot stand on that right leg for more than a couple minutes much less walk anywhere.
I do not mean to be or sound melo dramatic as this actually happened Wednesday afternoon. I have cancelled all meeting until further notice and my clients said they would be okay with consulting over the phone or with video conference. That was a kind and generous offer on their part.
I don;t know why this is so suddenly become so highly nflamed and debilitating. I am okay as long as I am sitting. I canonly lay in bed in one position, and no Beldin, that position is NOT on top of miz micro.... lol!! I ain't that lucky! lol!!
Pray that these series of shots will relieve the inflamamtion and allow me to walk again. I likely will be going to a stronger pain medicine , like 7.5 mg perocet or better if it does not. But then, I can't drive. SO I am in a real catch 22.
Sorry to bother and put this on the board. I believe in the power of prayer and I know that Christ Jesus hears our requests we make for other people and He will answer.
Please keep me in your prayers if you would be so kind. I am in a place I am not accustomed to being in and I do not like it. The Viet cong could not kill me but arthritis seems to be suceeding. What's wrong with this picture?
