Yes, the bottom line. It doesn't hurt, whether you're on a blood thinner or not. It bleeds ya dry. If the bleeding had not stopped bec/ the tourniquet had not worked, it is mandatory to go to the ER. Well, that's what I think/KNOW anyway!

I know what you're describing. We had friends that lived on the ocean in Maine. The husband had a pacemaker and was on a blood thinner.

MOSQUITOES - he was eaten alive by them. He had a lot of "under-the-skin" blotches all over him.

I smelled OFF for months. That is one carp smell.

I'll go to AMVETS and steal ya some sneakers.

Don't ya miss your work shoes? haha!

Re: “You know to take this seriously, don't you? ”
Yes, I can assure you that, with all I've gone through, I take it very seriously. But, FYI, with the aspirin I'm taking, it hardly hurts at all when I get cut. The other day, I nicked a scab near my knee and didn't even realize it. After a while, I started hearing that annoying "Squinch Squinch Squinch" sound your shoe make when you've stepped in a puddle up to your ankle and flooded the thing out. The darned thing was soaked like it'd been in a pool! So I went indoors and applied a tourniquet and in a few minutes I was able to get back to work... with a DIFFERENT shoe.

So, yeah, I'm taking it seriously. I don't have that many spare shoes...
