That was a good thing Nemo. Always good to sit and have an honest conversation with someone especialy if your lives and circumstances are intertwined and you need each other.
Hopefully you have a fairly good sized riding lawn tractor for mowing with and mulching leaves. That helps make the lawn maintenance easier but I have discovered with my particular set of problems, and everyone has their own particular ones or more, that it even hurts riding the lawn tractor around the yard recently. Can't stand. Taht is kinda where I am at moment. Looking forward to the numbing shots on Tuesday morning next week. Hoping even more that they work ! lol!!! Yeah, I can get kinda self centered like that sometimes....
Quality of Life...
Ribs would be an excellent person to talk about quality of life as we grow older as would insights from DGP.
Ribs has been through a lot of different things and I suppose that a lot are related to getting older.
For example, I have always had arthritis. It simply has gotten far worse and more noticeable as I have aged.
That would be an interesting discussion, IMO, as to what do different people define "quality of life" as and worth living?
I have watched my father deteriorate to a shell and a person lost inside their skull because their brain had been encrusted with dementia plaque. My dad was the President of the southwestern Ohio Engineering standards body for machine tool manufacturers association. At age 30. He had a sharp mind and I watched over these last 10 years as he became a veritable vegetable and could not speak , think, or do anything for himself..
That became in my opinion a lack of quiality of life but GOD SAID that it is HE who decides when it is time for someone to leave this body and world, and not anyone else. So that is where it gets interesting...
