Available in lengths from 6 feet to 8 feet in 6 inch increments. The shaft diameter is 1 3/4 inches, blade length is 24 inches and maximum blade with is 5 1/2 inches. The oars are finished with high quality spar varnish and have an epoxy tip reinforced with glass strand. Spoon blade oars are the best choice for rowing small boats described as whitehalls, wherrys and skiffs, designed primarily as rowing boats. The curve of the blade and thinner edges make the blade more efficient but also more delicate than the straight blade oars. Use #1 size oarlocks.
