Heh heh heh heh heh. That reminds me of a Hogan's Heroes re-run that I watched the other night. An American bomb got dropped into the middle of Stalag 13's compound but failed to explode. Col. Hogan, Col. Klink, and Sgt. Schultz were trying to disarm it. After much hilarity, it came down to two wires - cut the correct one, and all is well, but cut the wrong one and BOOM! With time running out, Col. Hogan desperately turns to Col. Klink and asks him which one he would cut. Col. Klink dithers and then makes his choice. Col. Hogan immediately cuts the other wire and the bomb is disarmed. Col. Klink gets pissy and asks Col. Hogan why he asked him to make a choice, in the first place, if he was just going to cut the opposite one. Of course, Col. Hogan replied that he knew for a fact that Col. Klink would pick the wrong one.

Re: “Reminder: It's usually a good idea to wait for the full story to come out before jumping to conclusions.”
My approach is to find clo's judgement - which is almost always immediate - and then assume the opposite. It's a strategy that hasn't failed me yet.
