True too Bob.
I suspect the banks would love nothing better than to force
folks to keep their money in banks . . . then they could
charge us for the privilege and we would have no alternative.

Just think . . if they didn't have to sort coins and bills
or count or keep cash secure in a vault . . . they could save
all sorts of money. Let the computers do everything - no
need for bank tellers either.

Back before this 'Wuhan - Flu' crud I used to enjoy going to
the bank, filling out a deposit slip and depositing my
dividend checks . . . Out of fear (or demoncrapper stupidity)
my preferred bank closed their lobby . . . check pads don't come
with enough deposit slips anymore . . . so I can't smile
at the girls anymore.

When 'they' try to tell me I can go to the self checkout
at the store I tell them I'm trying to keep them employed.

Zim.

I get the concept, but I'm thinking the major banks are probably more interested in eliminating cash.
