That s actually a good point Ribs. Pain lets us know when things are not going well and we should cease and desist before we really cause more serious harm.
In Nemo's case with that spinal vertebral bone fracture that is misaligned and and out of place, he can't really do anything more serious to it.
Give him props though. Being in all that pain and working through it to do all those boats and cars to earn money is something that defies my imagination and comprehension.
I could not do that. My hat is off to him and my heart feels his pain. I personally am lookingforward to the shots my pain doctor is talking about doing in his office. he says they will reduce the inflammation of the nerves which are all inflamed from the arthritic spurs .
Surgeon says he can;t operate on that area anymore. So I am basically screwed until I die.
Right now just thankful for the pain meds.
He did mention one thing of interest which I might explore later. Stem cell therapy on the spine. He said that would cause the spine to regenerate itself and possibly get rid of the arthritis.
I will have to find out more about it... I would have to pay for it all up front out of my own funds because Medicare will not pay for stem cell procedures like this. So I would have to see how much this would cost..
Will find out soon enough.
