If it was a real kayak I'd say yeah.
This reminds me of a movie I once saw. It started out with
the guy and his truck and a dog. He took his kayak off the
truck and set it down on the grass. Put on his little
spray skirt and told the dog to stay with the truck. No
water in sight. Then he started paddling down the hill . .
Right through the brush and trees and tall grass he paddled
then he shot out into space - maybe ten or fifteen feet down
was the water. It went in nose first and all but the stern
went underwater. Then it popped back out and he finished up
on top of the water. Then he proceeded to paddle on down
the river. White water, rapids, the whole nine yards worth.
There is also a maneuver called the 'Eskimo Roll'. Where if
one gets turned upside down one works the paddle just right
and the boat comes right side up again. Of course, one has
to have a good 'spray skirt' - which seals that hole in
the kayak one sits in to keep the water from flooding in when
the boat goes upside down. (Or goes nose first under the
surface.)
