...if ya look at the wooden flooring bottom right you will see something that looks like a picture frame. It is likely a place to put a battery so it won't slide around. Might be for an electric trolling motor or required lights for fishing at night. Unless the bat goes dead or the electric motor goes out ya should never have to paddle at all, but ya best take the oars with ya. Won't be a problem. Capn doesn't mind riding a couple of oars around with him
