Re: “Good work, Joey. I am sure he will make the right decision - for him.”
Thanks! It's still premature to guess about Joey's future. He hasn't submitted any applications for doctorate programs, much less been accepted. I'll let you folks know how that goes.

I bet good things are happening for your daughter. Has she figured out yet what she wants to study?

Yikes. I see that the background isn't working on this post. Unfortunately, I don't think it's something I can fix...

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

one of Joey's Computer Science professors just told him that he needs to begin applying to doctorate programs.

My daughter’s professors wanted her to continue, too. One bit of advice was to work in the field to find out what area she is most passionate about and then study this for her PhD. This is the path she has taken (so far).

At the graduation ceremony, as the department head handed her the diploma, he leaned over and whispered something in her ear. Later we asked her about that and she said he expected to see her back in five years.

Good work, Joey. I am sure he will make the right decision - for him.
