Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

Re: “For awhile if you went to the store to buy more than two bags of fertilizer ya had to fill out forms and stuff. ”
I used it to buy ammonium nitrate at Home Depot. It was great fertilizer - an excellent source of nitrogen, though it could easily burn the plants. Since 9-11, I've had my eyes out for it without success. Nobody seems to sell it to the general public anymore. I know that farmers still use it, but I don't know where they're getting it. I truly have not found a bag of ammonium nitrate in 20 years. I can't even find ammonium sulfate - and that's one of the things they add to ammonium nitrate in order to make it less explosive! It's a sad state we're in. We don't trust our own fellow citizens.

I blame all such problems on liberal policies and actions. We don't place enough of a stigma on single-parent households anymore. Once upon a time, there were very few divorces, couples who lost their partners quickly remarried, and there was far less premarital sex. Guys used to have to find sluts like the one we all know - and most considered them too disgusting to mess with. Families did a better job of instilling good values into their children. Schools focused on teaching kids how to think, not what politicians want them to think.

It's all gone. micro talks about resisting or losing it all; I believe we have already lost it all.

I used to advise folks to protect themselves pretty often. At some point I decided that that was pointless. People, even on the right, refuse to see. What is now crashing down upon us is just too disturbing.
