the idea of a closer alliance between the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand makes a lot of sense.

Not a dominant grouping. But powerful enough that it won't be ignored, for instance as a trade group.

Would be nice to add the US North East and the West Coast to such an alliance if the US decides to split into smaller entities.
