Lebanon PM blames deadly Beirut blast on 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate left unsecured in a warehouse
Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab said the explosion that rocked the capital, Beirut, killing at least 50 and injuring thousands on Tuesday, was caused by an estimated 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate left unsecured in a warehouse. Diab said the material had been present in the warehouse for six years without "preventive measures."
"I will not rest until we find the person responsible for what happened," he said.
