I nominate Mr. Brees for sainthood. He is an upstanding person who claims he is a devout born agains Christian.
He then comes out with the best political statement of anyone I have read. He states initially that he himself will not take a knee and disrespect the Flaf and Natinal Anthem, and hence, the evry country that he has prospered in as has every other athlete.
But then, he changes course after getting some flack and now claims that while he won;t take a knee, he understands and respects those who do want to DISS this nation, and without saying, all who gave their lives to have it, all who gave their lives to free the slaves, and hence has the backbone of a jellyfish..
Let's erect a monument to double minded people who can't take the heat and talk out of both sides of their mouths.
