No I haven't, thats the scary part. It means someone else is on it. Price is GREAT, I wouldn't live on it but spend a lot fo weekends on it. ANd A 9.9 will prolly be enough. Hull speed of a sailboat is around 8-10 knots. They can go faster but a total waste of gas trying too. 8-10 knots will be fine. On a boat its not the destination, its the journey!!!!!!

Make a sailboat a cruiser without sails. And check the price!!!! Heck the 9.9 outboard is worth $1000. I am going to buy this tomorrow. I hope I hear back from him........... And how cool the way he used a truck canopy to make headroom in the sail boat, and a 9.9. I could go a month on 6 gallons of gas, Prolly about 8-10 knots. That would be fine.........

You're in the "dangerous" age, your back has been killing you AND a 9.9 hp engine is enough, although you can always find a bigger engine sometime in the future.
