.he was a door gunner / radio operator on a B-17. They had to make a landing with the wheels up on his plane for some reason. Anyway he was banged up pretty good and was crippled up for the rest of his life.

We didn't get along well when I was a teenager and knew everything, but later on we made peace and spent many evenings sitting on his front porch watching the foxes in his yard.
I don't think that is unusual, ribit. My honey had his troubles with his Dad, too. Hey, I'm sure there is a poison for foxes......
