Doesn't look anywhere near the top at 35k new cases per day.
They may even reach 100k in the next month. Not sure if their low death rate will rise.
Mortality rates seem to vary greatly and I am still unclear why. The European epidemic was definitely the most deadly as a proportion of known cases. The current low mortality rates is an international phenomenon, but doesn't seem to affect the UK where the mortality rate remains stubbornly high and testing frequency is higher than the US. Thankfully, we now have a much smaller pool of carriers.
